Logistics
Get ready for a wild weekend under the California stars… Whether you’re rolling up in your van, cozying into a glamping tent, pitching your own, or finding a nearby bed to crash in, there’s a spot for everyone. Below you’ll find details on camping, glamping, lodging, and travel so you can come prepared and settle right into the fun (dust on your boots optional).
Lodging Options
We encourage as many people as possible to join us in spending the entire weekend with us at Lost Marbles Ranch. The Sierra Valley is quite remote (ie no ubers, unless you can catch and tame a wild horse!) We hope to all spend as much time together as possible. Please consider responsible transportation when deciding on your lodging!

Please be sure your set up is completely self contained as only “dry camping” is permitted on site. Pack it in, pack it out. Also please note: no fires or open flames! Remember you are coming to California!
Good Ol’ Camping
Not feeling fussy? Plenty of space at the ranch to pull up and pitch a tent. The ground is flat and grassy and perfect for you to set up your scene! Car camping totally works! Same rules apply, please make sure your camp set up is self contained: pack it in pack it out, leave no trace and no flames!
General Glamping Facts:

We love your furry friends but unfortunately they are not allowed on the ranch. Tell them we owe them a treat!
-
All camping and glamping is “dry camping” only. Please have your set up self contained, no dumping or hook ups.
Pack it in, pack it out!
-
We will have truck style portable bathrooms on site for the whole weekend.
-
We will be bringing in drinking water but there is not drinking water on site so please bring in your own drinking water! Water is life!
-
We will not have showers on site! Solar bag showers are great and Lake Davis is near by for a little mountain shower if needed!
-
Please do not have any sort of open flame on the property. This includes grills and fires. If you need to cook on a grill, there is some gravel by the barn where that can be done. Please keep other cooking inside your van/RV.
